2021.11.27 14:57 michelmuncan Upgrade/Improve weapon and armor mod?

Is there a mod, that makes it possible to improve (in smithing) weapons or armor in bulk?
For example, lets say, I have 10 steel swords in my inventory, and I wan't to improve them all, I would have to do that one at a time. Is there some mod out there, that would let me improve/upgrade all 10 swords at once?

2021.11.27 14:57 arlteam NWD file to STL

Hi,
I have a ~1GB NWD and want to convert it to STL. Any input? I use a more than capable machine (32-cores, 256GB RAM) and exporting to FBX without limiting the number of polygons never goes beyond 2%. Is there a better avenue?

Thank you

2021.11.27 14:57 SoThenIThought_ [All States] Troubleshooting Guide for Resolving Your Issue/Question

Intro This is a basic and transparent guide for how to resolve your issue/ question, and likely how other people will attempt to resolve your post. Yes, this post is expansive only because the scope and scale of information related to unemployment in order to be even marginally competent and confident in answering a given question is very, very large, this is why it is an entire legal industry, there is no way around that other than making sure that all of the information or policy is asked and known.
Overpayments, disqualifications, and appeals are not singular events, they are part of a sphere of policy and laws, some of which govern all claims everywhere, some of which govern only certain types of claims in certain States.
Basics

As is described in the rules post from u/truddles, the easiest method for searching Reddit is:
Or you can search reddit using Google by typing "site:reddit.com your question" without the quotes. Example below.
site:reddit.com how to file for unemployment in Texas
Confirming Information Information to include in a Post 1. What claim type are we talking about? UI (state based money, which was extended by the federal benefit extension PEUC), or PUA (Federal benefit and claim type), both of which had +$300/week added to their weekly benefit (by the federal benefit type PFUC)
UI and PUA claims are both governed by US Department of Labor. UI claims are also governed by state-specific laws. PUA initial eligibility, and later, 'income verification' were governed by two separate Federal legislations.
2. What is the Benefit Year End Date?
  • 2A: Since we are well after the end of federal benefits (9/6/2021), and well after the last date you could have applied for a PUA claim (10/6/2021), AND
  • 2B: All states have specific Work Hours or Gross Earnings criteria (generally per quarter)¥ that need to be met in order to apply and be approved for an unemployment claim...
¥ Federal benefits ended 9/4/2021 in Fiscal Quarter 3 (Q3, July 1 - September 30), and the next fiscal quarter ends 12/31/2021, so the next time the vast majority of employers wage and our data will be reported will be one week after the end of Q4, the first week in January, so that would be the first time the criteria could be hit and another claim could be filed and approved unless the claimant already hit the criteria and supplied wage and our data to prove it, and then forced it to be processed by the unemployment department, probably with an [escalation](https://www.reddit.com/Unemployment/comments/r0vowd/all_states_adjudication_pending_resolved_with_an/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share.
3. What is the overall timeline of the CLAIM, not the job?
This is especially important when describing overpayments or appeals, since most appeals have a specific deadline.
Overpayments 4. Did the unemployment department send you a request for information, and when?
  • 4A: Did you respond to that request within the time frame allotted? If not, see 4B, 4C
  • 4B: Did you understand what was being requested and or perform some kind of a search for the policy or law or previous user experiences related to this request? I.e. Did you understand the question
*If you did respond reactionarily without understanding the question and wish to update or change your answer, have you dedicated a block of time necessary to call and speak with an agent at your unemployment department to correct the submission? Or sent a message describing what information you wish to correct or update?
  • 4C: [Essential] If an overpayment was assessed, what were the specific laws invoked in the overpayment?
  • 4D: [Essential] If an overpayment was assessed due to a failure to respond to a request for information, did you supply the information requested before appealing?
"How long/When will?"... Are you waiting for an adjudication to be processed? Don't wait, start and follow up on an escalation weekly to force the unemployment department to process the information.
Appeals 5. If you intend to appeal, have you already read your states unemployment website about appeals, and/or
  • 5A The 3rd party entity that administrates the appeal's, website/guide on the appeals process?
5. If you didappeal, see 4A, 4B, 4C; what information did you supply to support your position that certain criteria within the law were or were not met?
  • 5A: If you did seek council from legal aid, what was their recommendation?
  • 5B: Did you understand/agree with how the judge's decision relates to the law and the criteria therein?
2nd Appeal 6. If you intend to appeal this appeal, understand the process and its limitations:
  • 6A: [Essential] Seek legal aid; what is their advice?
In some states, in the 2nd appeal, the entity that administrates it will not entertain any new information and the 'appeal of the appeal' is simply a judicial review of the first appeal decision, what information was supplied for or against the decision by the claimant, the ex employer, and the unemployment department. If only after the first appeal has failed and you realize that there was additional information that was essential, you need to know if this can even be supplied in the second appeal, or if it is too late.
If you have already filed an appeal of the appeal, what is the answer to 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 5B?
Caveats In Understanding
Believing that "Well, I have such a unique situation that I am exempt from all previous examples and expertise" will severely slow your understanding of the material and the resolution.
Believing that "Before I intake any new information which I am requesting, or begin a robust search, I'm going to make other people dispel all of my misconceptions first" will severely slow your understanding of the material and the resolution.
Expecting an instant resolution without understanding how much information will need to be exchanged, and/or giving up on information exchange will severely slow your understanding of the material and the resolution.
Making multiple posts or using alternate accounts to make multiple posts, will not and cannot ever supplant for good faith information exchange with a trusted usemoderator / free legal aid, and will will severely slow your understanding of the material and the resolution.
Afterword There are exceptional people such as u/considerationsome, u/regular_monk9923, u/throwawayorthrowing, and u/legitimate_Art1146, who, from thousands of miles away, and without knowing you, will use their valuable time to help you understand the issue as succinctly and quickly as possible, thousands of magnitudes faster and more complete than your unemployment office. It is truly the greatest bright spot of hope and help within this incredible Quagmire.
Customer service, transparency of laws and policies and access to that information is clearly an exceptional burden, and although our legislators have accepted countless escalations, and the difficulty of calling or reaching somebody who actually understands the material and is well trained is extreme, not only does this burden remain, but as u/oldman712 said, "... a program that provides short term relief for unexpected unemployment rather pointless when they don't pay for months.". True S#!+.
When you find something out that you did not know and it turns out to be crucial, it is because it was extremely difficult to find it in the beginning. Get yourself a break, given everything, you are doing great.

2021.11.27 14:57 fruitpunched_ My brother was adopted & in adulthood I am realizing how much trauma was never addressed.

My brother was adopted from Russia when he was a year old. He’s 25 now, I’m 33. He has always known he was adopted, it was always something our family was open about, we attended lots of events with other adoptive families when we were young. So for us it was always normalized. I don’t know anything about his bio family and to my knowledge he’s never asked.
I love him, but unfortunately we have never been close. We had such a big age gap and we really didn’t have a lot in common as kids (I freaking adored him though). As we got older it became clear that this ran deeper than just surface issues, we are very different people. I’m extremely sensitive and emotional, he is very closed off. He has never spoken about his feelings and has never had close friendships or dated. I’m fairly certain he is not neurotypical, but he’s never been evaluated so I can’t say for sure. He tends to just be objective/indifferent, deflect any conversation about emotions or difficult issues and intellectualize everything. I used to worry about this but he seems to be genuinely content with his job, school, and hobbies and truly does not want relationships beyond our family. It’s just hard for me to understand sometimes.
I don’t think he’s ever gone to therapy. I’m sure our parents were unaware of potential trauma, although looking back it’s very obvious. He lived the first year of his life in an orphanage. They would put 4 babies in a crib and strap little babies on potties. It was heartbreaking. So I am not surprised he struggles with attachment. He did go to speech therapy for a while when he was a few years old, and he has severe dyslexia. I think my parents knew those were potential manifestations of trauma but the emotional stuff didn’t become clear until much later.
He has been working his way slowly through college and he lives at home with our dad who is a whole other host of issues. I love my dad very much and he is an incredibly caring person who loves fiercely, but he is also self centered and controlling. I was miserable living with him because of it. My brother seems to be okay with it but I’m genuinely horrified at their relationship. The last time I was home, I saw my brother grab a piece of candy and my dad scolded him like he was a child. It was disturbing. He also got a kitten last year specifically for my brother, I can only assume with the intent of keeping him living at home. When I was a young adult I was struggling with mental and physical health issues and my dad always catastrophized my problems, always wanted there to be something wrong with me, to keep me from leaving. It’s fucked up. I’ve considered asking my brother to move in with me and my husband 2000 miles away just so he can get some space.
I actually searched out this sub to learn more about adoption because it’s something I am considering myself but when I saw this sub allowed posts for anyone affected by adoption I started thinking about all of this and got very emotional. I love my brother so much. He is incredibly smart and funny and sweet. He loves animals. He sends me pictures of his cats. I ask him for advice about tech stuff and gaming (he absolutely thrives when he is being asked for his expert opinion and I learn so much from him). I desperately want us to be close and my heart hurts for what emotional turmoil he could be suffering. I carry my own pain from childhood and my parents’ issues and I can only imagine how much more complex his must be, and I just wish we could talk about all of this but he just can’t.
I didn’t intend to write so much, I guess I just needed to put these feelings out there somewhere. The more I’m learning, the worse I feel for the fact that he likely has a lot of trauma that was never properly addressed. I don’t know if it’s even my place to address it with him. I thought about getting him a book about adoption and trauma, but he really doesn’t read well with his dyslexia.
Any suggestions or insights are welcome but really, I just needed to get this off my chest. Thank you for listening.

2021.11.27 14:57 KhrysesAD VM4 Coils don't seem to last long

So I'm using VM4 Coils at 25w in the Drag x and on average I'll get about 350 puffs. I'm using mostly Berry flavored juice so it is quite sweet and it's 20mg salt nic also. On tip of this I would generally take long pulls(2-3 seconds) would you guys recommend a different coil or maybe suggest a juice brand that doesn't have so much sucralose in it? I'm in Ireland so anywhere in Europe I could order from would be great.
PS I've tried to clean my coils after using them in both hot water and vodka overnight but the cotton is just too hard and burned to do anything.
Thanks in advance!

2021.11.27 14:57 Gluebald Question regarding Ardbert...

According to the FFXIV wikia:
"Aether is part of a series-wide trend to use a supernatural substance to explain the origins of magic, crystals, life, and other phenomena. Other instances of this include the Mist, Miasma, and the lifestream/mako. Of these, aether is conceptually closest to the lifestream: both occur naturally in multiple degrees of density and both are poisonous at extreme levels.
See also: Mist, Miasma, Lifestream, Pyrefly, Phantoma, or Soul
Aether is released from the body upon death and it disappears from the physical realm. Only so much of it can cross over at a time, and any excess remains to form a glowing mist, crystals, or even ghostly apparitions. As aether is akin to soul energy, more violent and dramatic deaths tend to yield more excess aether."
So... if souls are made out of aether, and Ardbert's soul is keeping the player company... why can't Y'sthola or bootleg-Minfilia sense or see him? Shouldn't they by all accounts atleast acknowledge his presense?

2021.11.27 14:57 dlc2021az Anybody that works in fast food, just remember something.

All of you work hard and we are in this together for the most part, BUT when a dasher walks into the store (or anyone for that matter) and you ignore them, you're not helping anyone. It's one thing for a dasher to yell at a worker for an order taking so long, just as it's another thing to walk into Bruegger's bagels or McD's and be completely ignored by staff for 10 minutes. This is what makes dashers unassign and the food will take even longer to get picked up. Regular employees shouldn't be concerned but managers or shift leads should be, because that's messed up.

Hey Sardonicast Community,
There's a famous economist I like that posts these lists of (mostly) foreign movies every quarter. I was wondering if you folks have seen any from his list and if there were any you would recommend.
Offhand, I liked Museo, but I don't think I saw any of the other foreign ones he recommends.

2021.11.27 14:57 bolo_bao Which DAC is used if I connect speakers to PC vs TV? Does it matter?

Hi I recently purchased my first set of passive speakers and I'm trying to figure out how to configure this before they come in.
This guide says how to do this with a small amp but doesn't really go into how it affects it quality-wise. How much of a difference are we talking if I dish out a bunch more for a receiver with multiple inputs and connect from each source individually vs a DAC/Amp combo plugged into the TV directly via optical vs using RCA with a small amp into the tv and using integrated tv/pc DAC?
Would it be a noticeable difference if the TV integrated DAC is used and I connect to speakers using RCA cables? For example
PC --> (HDMI) TV --> (RCA) Amp

  • Is the TV DAC used here because HDMI is digital? Would it be a big difference?
PC --> (HDMI) TV --> (Optical) DAC/Amp combo
  • Will the digital signal carry all the way through to use the dedicated DAC?
  • Would this be any worse than going PC --> DAC/Amp directly?
